This morning the wee blues hosted Madras and Currie P2-5s on the Astro.

Unfortunately the flooded grass pitches meant the 6 and 7s games were cancelled. But undeterred the 6/7s headed off to Seafield beach for a training session 💨 🏖 - I believe a bit cold 🥶.

All 3 clubs bringing lots of players, at all the ages on the Astro. A great morning of round-robin games. Gary, Gareth, Audrey and Ross all taking our 2/3s. Some fantastic running, passing and tries from all the boys and girls. Great to see 3 teams at this age group and some debuts for boys and girls too. Great stuff.

The P4s with Matthew, Colin and Robbie taking charge, putting in some great work in defence and tackling. Great efforts to tackle while, with the ball in hand, the team scored some amazing tries, passing the ball and running well.

The 5s with Stuart, Michael and Kenny (wishing he hadn’t worn shorts all morning 😂) marshalling them well. Good shape from the team and great running, with tries spread amongst the whole team. Great to see all the players getting involved and working hard in both defence and attack. All the squad doing well, with Charlotte doing really well having not played lots of games 👏.

A great morning of fun and friendship. Well done all wee blues and adults.

Thanks to all our volunteers - the coaches/managers. Roxanne doing a fantastic cooking stint being our MoM! Thankyou all the clubhouse catering adults, player meal dispatchers and tidy upers - we really can’t do these days without all your help.
