The Blues host Berwick in the quarter-final of the National League Cup, kick-off at 2.30pm.
Despite a 38-30 bonus point win for Falkirk at Howe of Fife, Kirkcaldy topped Pool 7 on points difference after their season opening draw against Falkirk and then a 32-19 win v Howe. Berwick progressed to this stage with pool wins against Preston Lodge (26-36) and Stewart's Melville (36-33).
The clubs last met four weeks ago at Beveridge Park in the league, with the visitors coming out on top 46-25. Kirkcaldy led early on and also ended the game with three tries in the last 10 minutes, but Berwick were otherwise in control scoring five unanswered tries. Earlier in the season The Blues held on for a 24-22 away win at Scremerston.
Both sides come off the back of league defeats last week to clubs at the bottom of the table. Kirkcaldy will be looking to do better in defence after conceding 65 points at Newton Stewart, as they make changes and welcome returning players in the backs.
The winners of this match will play at home to Hillhead Jordanhill in the NL Cup semi-final on 5th April, while GHK and Gordonians will contest the other semi.
