2nd XV 0 Biggar 68
With a depleted team yet again, the seconds travelled to Biggar for their first away game of the season.
The game started well with good set piece play with the seconds holding their own for 15 - 20 minutes.
Then the Biggar pack turned up the gas and provided a good platform for their backs, who looked like they had been playing together for some time and that set the whole game. Kirkcaldy never gave up and came near to the try line a few times but only to be thwarted by a good defence.
The seconds have to be praised for their valiant efforts and surely will be rewarded by continuous good efforts on the training paddock and the return of other players to the fold.
