We won the tournament and collected the Trophy.

We played three short games (12.5 mins each way). Waid were first and we beat them by 27-5, then a really close encounter with the home team, Madras, where both sides had numerous chances but were denied by determined defence from both sides, and it was not until the last minutes of the game that Kirkcaldy scored, after forcing Madras into two 5 yard scrums, captain Bonner dummying to take the attack left, but the ball was moved right, and Raeside got the vital score, to make it 5-0.

In the last game the team started badly, letting Kinross get the first score. However, they rallied and scored from the next K.O. and ran out easy winners 25-5. The trophy was presented by Rikki Lees widow.
